Your mission
As Vehicle Integration Engineer you will be part of our development team. You will be responsible for the development of vehicle communication as well as the software and electronics on the vehicles. As an early team member, you will play a crucial role in establishing related processes. At the same time, you will continue to grow personally and professionally by engaging in complex challenges and being responsible for the electronics area. You will work closely with the founders and play a central role in the team. Because of you, we can communicate with various different vehicles so that we can control the vehicles with our Remote Driving System. You will also be responsible for all the wiring and electronics on the vehicle.
Your tasks
  • Integrating our system into new vehicles and ensuring the successful deployment of hardware and software
  • Developing new functions and working with microcontrollers
  • Continuously improving and optimizing the safety, reliability and performance of the system
  •  Designing and implementing electronic circuits and PCBs for our systems
  • Testing and validation of the functionality and reliability of the electrical and mechatronic systems
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in electronics design and software development
  • Familiarity with vehicle communication systems and protocols such as CAN/CANopen
  • Good programming skills in C/C++
  • Experience with PCB design and layout tools such as Eagle or Altium
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and signal processing
  • Experience with sensors, actuators and motor control
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Optional: Experience with ROS
