Your mission
We are offering an exciting internship position (4 - 6 months, voluntary or obligatory) for Software Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on robotics, AI, and navigation. This position offers a unique combination of independence and mentoring that will allow you to grow as a software developer. As an early team member, you will play an important role in building the relevant systems by participating in complex challenges. Through you, we can improve our software system and integrate new features.
Your tasks
You have the opportunity to perform diverse tasks or specific ones, according to your interest:
  • Development of algorithms in C++ for image processing, camera-based localization, and driving assistance
  • Processing fleet data and applying machine learning for fleet navigation
  • Calibration of the monocular fisheye camera for a multi-camera system
  • Design and development of scalable solutions with AI tools and machine learning models
  • Development of tools for the calculation and storage of fleet data and for the creation of datasets
  • Integration, testing, optimization and development of solutions for driving assistance systems
  • Implementation of AI and computer vision algorithms in embedded systems
  • Development of a platform/simulation for software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Testing of system performance regarding functionality, reliability, and security requirements
Your profile
The following knowledge is useful (not all necessary):
  • Studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, or related fields.
  • programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Sound knowledge and interest in the field of robotics and software development.
  • Experience with ROS / ROS 2 (Robot Operating System).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
